    What is Therapy?

Therapy is a compassionate and collaborative process that supports the navigation of life’s challenges. It provides a safe, confidential space to explore emotions, gain insight, and develop effective coping strategies. Whether addressing stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships, or personal growth, therapy empowers you to create meaningful change. We are dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to help you heal, grow, and thrive.

What is Walk and Talk Therapy?

Walk and talk therapy combines traditional talk therapy with the calming effects of movement and nature. Instead of meeting in an office, sessions take place outdoors while walking side by side, creating a more relaxed and open environment. This approach can help ease anxiety, improve mood, and make it easier to process difficult emotions. It’s a great option for clients who find movement grounding or who prefer a less traditional, more natural setting for therapy.

Some examples of places clients enjoy this type of therapy include Creamers Field, Wander Lake, UAF Walking Trails, and Koponen Homestead Trails. When it is too cold, there are inside options to still incorporate movement.
